Bubbles blowing, bursting --POP!--

These are mediocre quality, but adorable none the less -- our camera has breathed its last breath (new camera to be ordered today!!) and I'm stuck with my cell camera.

Just a few shots of the kid enjoying the bubbles at gymnastics this morning. Class always ends with bubbles, and the other moms were quite impressed when Noah said "bubble" (well, buh-buh, but it actually sounded just like bubble...so proud). He's cute, AND smart!!

Aquarium and Botanical Garden

Noah and I met up with our friends yesterday in the big city and visited the Aquarium and Botanical Gardens. Already we are loving our "Zoo" membership -- who knew there was a lovely, lush garden in the vicinity?? And a farm on-site!?

Biggest hit of the day? Our friend's wagon! We will be ordering one asap.

Other highlights included the sheep (dog, dog, dog) and the big tank at the aquarium. Picture a kid who loves animals, and loves water .... he literally could not stop saying "water, dog, water, dog, water, dog". Apparently sharks are water dogs with fins...

Looking at the sheep

Soooo happy!!

Baaa-aaa

Playing before lunch

In his friend's wagon. He would not get out!

Thankfully it was a 2-seater

Still in it... (mind you, all the other kids were off playing)

WATER!!!!

(our camera is broken - huge bummer. these are all from my phone - not the best quality but thank goodness for cell cameras!)

It's a tough job...

But someone has to follow this cute kid around town and take photos!

At the pediatrician's office yesterday...waiting... dancing and showing his belly.
We don't know where this kid comes from!!

At an outdoor concert and picnic last night. We had dinner and drinks, and Noah danced on the grass...super fun evening!

Noah and his new visor!

Trying it on in the store - how could I not buy it for this face!!??

Panda Love

He ran straight down the stairs and gave big panda a HUGE hug! (he knows right where panda lives...)

More hugs

Notice how he's looking at the panda, with his hands on panda's face...

Everyone who follows my blog knows how much Noah LOOOVES Panda!

Welcome to Panda Heaven*.

The Kid

A little uncertain...

Self-portrait

Once it started moving he was EXCITED!

Clapping!

The Kid, as I call him, had his 15 month appointment this morning. Everything went great - our pediatrician said he was healthy and developing right on track! He didn't even cry for his first vaccination (poor boy had to get 2).

Immediately following his appointment we went to gymnastics, and then on to story time at the library, so that made up for it!

(the photos above are on the merry-go-round, which we rode yesterday!)

His official 15 month "stats":
weight - 27 lbs, 3 oz, 85%
height - 31 in, 70%
head - 48.2 cm, 82%

The Zoo!

Checking out the flamingo exhibit. He took one look and said, "bird"!

The duck pond

He wanted to go in the pond...

He did feed the ducks! (and then fed himself the stale bread...)

Picnic lunch on the grass

Noah and I joined some friends at the Rio Grande Zoo (in Albuquerque) yesterday morning. Surprisingly, it's a pretty nice zoo - we "joined" so we have unlimited access to the zoo, bio-park and the aquarium!

Noah is just getting old enough to have fun looking at the animals. Of course, he thought they were all "dogs". He looked at the tiger and said, "dog, dog, dog". Luckily, he's really cute...
