Mass Transit

My kid LOVES public transportation!!

He had the day off from school today (spring break this week) so we rode the bus - pretty fun and easy, and what a thrill for the kid!
Waiting at the bus stop

Kitty also loves the bus!

No outing is complete without Starbucks!

Pink "little cake"!

2 year stats

Noah had his two-year check up this morning.  Our pediatrician said he's developing and growing perfectly!  Pretty quick and standard appointment, and minimal crying for his last vaccination (yay!)!!!

His official 2 year "stats":
weight - 29 lbs, 2 oz, 67% {he seems bigger than he is!}
height - 35 1/2 in, 82%
head - 19 1/2 cm, 88%

After his appointment I told him we could do whatever he wanted - lunch, visit Daddy, the park... he chose to go to see the windmill!  Along with buses, he is obsessed with windmills!

Day 5

We finally wrapped up day 5 of the biggest-birthday-celebration-EVER!!  Noah had an amazing 5 days of fun and we feel incredibly lucky that he is so loved by friends and family, near and far.

Started the day off with a few more gifts...

His new and "vintage" books from Great G'ma Jane and Great G'pa Ed
From Ellen and Mark ... hip, of course!
It's full, too!
Trying to capture the dance he did, in a circle, from excitement upon opening this kitty...
Hard to capture, but sooo cute
Giving the kitty a kiss
Watching Barney, in the bus, wearing the backpack

Then, a trip to the mall to celebrate with his good friend Catalina...

The merry-go-round of course!
Noah was spinning Cata, very gentleman-ly
The rides!
Pretty Catalina!!
Putting (many) quarters in
Helicopter!!

We finished at the mall with french fries from Dairy Queen... and then....

after Noah's nap, Belo arranged for him to ride the PURPLE BUS!  He has been obsessed with it ever since we drove by it on the street a couple of months ago.  Truly a wonderful end to a WONDERFUL few days!!!
{the "purple bus" is really a shuttle for one of the hotels in town.  Noah was lucky enough to have the actual hotel owner chauffeur us around!}

The hotel owner brought Noah a cookie from the kitchen
A HUGE cookie!
Belo and his guy, about to board
HAPPY!!

Cake and ice cream...

The grand finale to his big day (but not the end of the celebrating...)!

The cake!
My birthday baby!!
Smiling with Daddy

He's all about blowing out candles
He grabbed a wheel (chocolate donut)!
After eating this he said "dessert" - apparently a donut does not qualify...
Cake and ice cream do!!!!
