My dad was just here for a visit - we just took him to the airport tonight - and Noah had a blast with "MY Pappy", as he calls him!

Our driveway is being graded this week - so there have been 3 huge tractors parked on our street overnight.  Probably against some 'rule' but we let him "drive" them at night after the workers go home.  He was THRILLED! 

When we told him it was time to go back home, he said "I drive 5 more times, okay?".

Charlie, on the other hand, is NOT thrilled

Firehouse revisited

We got to visit the Agua Fria Fire Station again - we did this back in May, too - and it was even better this time!  

Noah had soooo much fun "driving" the big trucks!  The firemen are so nice to let the kids come and play - Noah was beside himself with happiness.

This is how the kid often naps - with a bed full of HUGE toys and trucks!  Note that the monkey and Bevo are quite large - as is the fire truck.  I wish I could crawl in and snuggle with him, too....

We woke up to a lovely RAINY morning!  Guess we are no longer Seattleites, because we looooove the rain!

Granny just spent a long weekend with us, and if one word could sum up the fun, I think it's PLAY!  That is what Noah and Granny did - all day, every day!! 

Of course I didn't take many photos - but we did take a few of Noah and Granny in their matching Texas gear during the UT game on Saturday.

Yes, Noah does have a couple of friends-that-are-boys!  

We met his friend Will at the park this morning for a playdate (Noah and Will are 5 days apart in age) and Noah had SOOOOOOOOO much fun!  I rarely see him so engaged and uninhibited (he is like this with his friend Amelia, at school).  

They rode bikes, chased each other, chased bugs, did a crazy "bug dance", raced up and down the slide and "drove" together - a fun morning!
