I realize I haven't updated the blog in ages!!  We've been sooo busy - it was Hannukah, Thanksgiving, we had guests in town, then went to Seattle for a week, and now we're in the whirlwind of pre-Christmas fun!!!

Proud Parent Moment

Today, for the first time ever in RGS history, the Grandes were invited to the all school meeting (normally the early childhood classes do not attend this), and... they gave presentations on what they were thankful for.

Earlier in the week, they worked with their 6th grade buddies to determine what they were thankful for.  The Grandes and their buddies presented in the all-school meeting... despite practicing speaking into the microphone yesterday, none of Noah's classmates actually did it this morning until it was Noah's turn.  Noah took the mic, spoke clearly and was not shy.  He made us SOOOO proud -- all of the other parents were super impressed (insert shameless bragging)!!!  After Noah's act of bravery, several other kids spoke as well.

It's amazing the skills they are learning as 4 year olds.  We love RGS!

Leaf Jumping

Today was the annual Rio Grande School LEAF JUMPING PARTY! It's something the Pequenos and the Grandes do every October.  Max and I joined them again this year -- it's super fun!
