Friday night we did something that I've been wanting to do since the weather got nice -- we went to the Friday Night Art Walk along Canyon Road, Santa Fe's famous arts road!! It was soo fun! The weather was perfect for strolling, and Canyon Road was quaint and charming. Most of the galleries were open, and many were serving food and drinks. One even had a fantastic local band playing!

After our fun outing, we came home and Grammy made us a delicious dinner and even a fire in the outdoor kiva, so I could roast s'mores. Which I did, after eating THE BIG BOX of hot tamales. Healthy. Hopefully Noah inherits my love of junk food :)

Since Grammy is here visiting, we decided to do some local exploring! We headed about 24 miles northeast of Santa Fe, to the little "town" (population: 2,789) of Chimayo. The last 5 or so miles of the drive were breathtaking -- a lush and green valley in the midst of all the rocks and hills. We visited the famous church, the little store, and ate at the tiny restaurant. And that was all of it!

Guess who weighs 11 pounds, 2 ounces!!??!!?? My big boy!! Poor Charlie is back to being the smallest man in the house.

We had a very exciting weekend with 2 major events!
First, Grammy arrived Saturday evening!!! It had been over a month since we'd seen Grammy and everyone (dare I say ESPECIALLY Charlie) was excited to see her!!

Second, it was Daddy's 1st Father's Day!! We had a lazy, relaxing day in the yard, followed by Sangria and a swim at Abuelo and Su Su's (Steve and Susan)!

He wore an itsy bitsy, teeny weeny...

Noah went for his first swim last night - at my birthday dinner celebration at Steve and Su Su's house!! He was absolutely adorable, and loved the water. He was in the pool for a good 20 minutes. I think he thought "I'm in my bath, but why is it so big? And why is Mommy IN my bath with me...?". Anyway, he was quite cute in his new little swim shorts. The pictures aren't the best quality, but Daddy had the camera on his business trip with Jeff Tweedy. The pool shots aren't bad for self-portraits, huh!!?
