We spent Sunday afternoon at our friends' house, where Noah had a blast playing with his little pal, Catalina!

They are only 2 months apart (Noah is 2 mo. older, and 8 lbs bigger...) and play really well together - very cute!!

Gymnastics!

Noah's new summer activity is gymnastics! We just started this morning - it was very fun!

(a large, padded room?? perfect for the kid who always has a bruise or two on his face...)

The class is "open gym style" (with a coach), and is for 1-4 year-olds. Surprisingly, most of the kids are around Noah's age, so I think it's going to be great!

Some friends invited us to spend Saturday (95 degrees) with them at their club's pool. The best part according to Noah? The kiddie-pool!

Belo and Susu are back!

We had our first swim of the summer on Friday night - no surprise Noah had a b-l-a-s-t!! That kid loves the water!

Last year he was too little to enjoy his pool floaty, but now that he is bigger (to put it mildly), he loves it!

We are looking forward to many, many, many fun afternoons in the pool....

Noah, of course, had the most fun NOT on the toys but trying to run up a dirt hill, and playing with the 2 VERY friendly dogs he met.

New Dog!!

With his beloved new dog....











Noah "found" this stuffed dog in Bill's cousin's room in El Paso.

He LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED the dog.

Carried it around everywhere for the 3 days we were there.

So, we're sending a big THANK YOU to cousin Lindsay for letting Noah take the doggie home (from what I gather the dog did have sentimental value)!! "New Dog" (as appropriately named) has joined the ranks of "Panda" and "Dog".

(even though he calls it "dog" [his fave word to say] sometimes Noah looks at it and says "baaa-aaa". no judgement - it IS white and fluffy like a lamb!!)
