Moving Up Ceremony

Max's preschool had their "Moving Up" ceremony last Friday (he'll be moving up to the bigger kid class for the summer, until he starts RGS in August!) -- it was the cutest little performance by the 3 classes, followed by a potluck picnic.  It was very sweet to see Max interact with his friends and fun for us to get to know all of the other parents and grandparents that were there.  Afterwards Max kept asking me if I was proud of him - of course I was!

Fun in Pecos

We spent half the day on Saturday out in Pecos, at a birthday party on our friend's property -- it was SO fun and so gorgeous out there.  Right on the river (which is roaring right now!), Cowgirl BBQ catering, pony rides, a fabulous Bluegrass band, a pond with a tree swing... I should have taken more pictures.  It was one of those super fun days where all the kids AND adults had a blast!
