Noah and I took our final summer trip to Seattle last week. We saw friends and family, and had a lot of hang out time at Grammy's, with the cousins and Auntie, of course!

Noah rolled over for the first time at Grammy's house! Once he figured out that trick, it was all he wanted to do. Albeit once he rolled onto his tummy, he screamed in frustration! Next trick will hopefully be rolling back over...

We had a great time at home, and Noah and I will be back in late October for some Halloween fun (I have a reason to trick or treat again!).

Just cuz he's cute!

It might seem I'm addicting to blogging. It's fun, who knew!?

Noah and I are off to Seattle this evening - I'm sure we'll have some fun pictures and stories upon our return next week. And Pappy is flying home with us - yay!

Funny mama!

Apparently Noah thought his mama was VERY funny today during his bath! He was cracking up for so long, that I figured he'd stop by the time I finally grabbed the camera... but he didn't! He was quite amused by the sound I was making (you'll hear in the video)!
(make sure sound is on)

Relaxing in Ruidoso

A picture with my Granny! All dressed up for the casino night/benefit.

I love this serious face

Just relaxing on Daddy

Playing with Poppy!

Spoiled by Granny and Poppy in the morning - I told them they looked like they were all at a spa in their white robes and pjs!

Happy to see Granny!!

Last weekend, all of us, including road-trip-veteran Charlie, piled in the car and took a short road trip (only 2 hr 45 min) to Ruidoso, NM, to visit Granny and Poppy (Sally and Doug), who have a home there. It was a very mellow weekend, but very fun!

Friday night we all went to an auction/casino night at the Country Club - including Mr. Noah, who was quite the good luck charm at the craps table. Actually, I think I was just rolling hot! I learned how to play craps (of course it's all the more fun with 'funny money') - and now I sort of want to go to Vegas...

Other than that, we all just hung out, and Noah had fun being spoiled by his grandparents!!

We sure hope to have a lot more visits in Ruidoso!

Rice cereal - the first taste...

Ready for action in my bumbo!

What is that stuff you're about to give me...?

Hmmmm...

It's food! Give me that spoon!!!

Can't get it in fast enough!

More on my face than in my mouth...

Okay, I think I am getting this...

We gave Noah his first taste of rice cereal last week. He liked it!! He loves anything that goes in his mouth, be it milk, medicine, oral vaccinations, you name it. So I wasn't that surprised he enjoyed the cereal. He's had it about 4 times, and each time he gets the hang of it a little more. We plan to start giving it to him regularly very soon -- and then it's on to vegetables, lucky kid!

Photos!

My sister and I had the kids' photos taken on my last trip to Seattle! I am soooo pleased with them - LOVE them!! It wasn't the easiest feat, getting a 3 year old, a 5 year old and a tired 4 month old to hold still/look at the camera/smile/behave. But, we did manage to get many great shots!! Now the only problem is deciding which ones to frame :)

I posted quite a few shots - the best of the best, in my opinion. (check out Sissy's blog for more awesome photos of my adorable niece and nephew)
